Local Area Information

Getting about

Bridlington is a 30 minute stroll along the promenade or there are regular buses from the Park & Ride site next door, with the scenic land train running along the prom during the season.

There are also regular bus links to surrounding areas including Driffield, Beverly, Skipsea etc.

The town has a variety of shops and a good range of supermarkets.

Places to eat and drink

There are cafes and pubs within easy walking distance of the chalet, many of which are dog friendly.

Places further afield

The chalet is the perfect base from which to explore the wider area such the Yorkshire Wolds and the North Yorkshire moors.

Seaside places such as Flamborough, Filey, Scarborough and Whitby are easily accessible with the furthest being less than an hours drive away.

If you have a dog

This is one of the most dog friendly areas on the coast. You can take your dog on the beach all year round (some seasonal restrictions as you get closer to Bridlington) and most of the cafes and pubs are dog friendly.

Charging of Electric vehicles

The site does not allow the charging of electric vehicles and does not have any charging points at the moment.

However, South Cliff Holiday Park Reception (which you will pass on the left on your way to South Shore) has charging points as do Lidl and Aldi.
